Vishal and Shekhar know the pulse of youth and so their music is usually young, hip and zippy. Repeating the trend, the composer duo has rendered some interesting and upbeat songs that are bound to be liked by music lovers, especially the young generation.

The album boasts of eight tracks, including one remix and one acoustic version.

It sets the mood with its first track Adhoore, which is already making waves among listeners. Crooned by Vishal and Alyssa Mendonsa, the peppy, foot-tapping love song that describes the two main characters in the film is quite interesting and entertaining. A good start to the soundtrack.

The song also has a remix version, which is faster in pace.

The next is Ajab leher that has Neeraj Shridhar, Shekhar Ravjiani and Vishal behind the mike. The upbeat song that talks about one's neighbour makes good use of the saxophone, which is quite appealing. It's catchy and has the potential to become a favourite.

Next is a soft song, Dhoop ke makaan, sung by Shekhar Ravjiani, Sunidhi Chauhan, Caralisa and Mikey Mcclearyu. The track is quite melodious even though the music is subdued and the focus is on vocals and lyrics. A decent number.

The song also has an acoustic version, which is more appealing. It has a raw feel that gives it an edge over the original.

Then there is Dooriyan hain zaroori, a song that talks about the concept of space in a relationship. With rock influences, the song attracts attention. It is catchy and has spunk, which helps it stand tall among the other tracks.

The soundtrack also offers an English song, which is situational. "Don't worry about me" is likeable but, because of the language, might not enjoy mass appeal. Nevertheless, a good hear.

Finally, there is Main jiyoonga that starts with a bang. With piano as its predominant instrument, it generates quite a lot of interest. A good way to end the album.

On the whole, Break Ke Baad offers a robust mix of songs that are hummable and will be enjoyed by a majority of people.

Love Aaj Kal Songs

Expectations are sky high. And why not? After serene Socha Na Tha, and full of life Jab We Met soundtrack, [okay, much was lifted, but OST was good though] one can easily demand more from the director- Imtiaz Ali. And for soundtrack of his next Love Aaj Kal, he again has roped in Pritam Chakraborthy. Movie has flavor of fun, and this time much more then JWM, where only Girl was Paagal, in here, both Girl and Boy looks Paagal. And for such paagal movie, some fultoo paagal music is needed. So, has Pritam done justice? And how many tracks he has lifted this time.

Hemant Kumar must be crying for killing his one of the most famous tune in first track 'Twist'. I have had enough of Neeraj Shridhar. Aren't there any more singers left? Okay, the track is 'killing' in terms of instant addiction. Instant foot-tapping. But that's only because of 'Naagin' tune. Otherwise the track is so badly composed. So, thumbs down at very first track. :( Again, it is re re mixed in Twist remix track, later in album.

If someone was listening to my cries over the first track, instantly second track made me fly high. A haunting whistling sound coming from a distant place with winds blowing, and Voila !! Mohit Chauhan !! Singing 'Yeh Dooriyaan' a regular, soaked in sweetness, lovely song by Mohit. Words by Irshad Kamil, does fantastic job. And the 'theme' the song has, must be used in various parts of the movie. Also it is used in Main Yahaan Hoon track. Fresh breeze of romance is felt all around. Traces of Tum Se Hi are felf here too.

Next track 'Chor Bazari' is a fun foot tapping track. Girl and boy having fun. Sung by Neeraj Shridhar [again] with Sunidhi Chauhan. Though composition is quite insteresting but it fails to hold up the attention. And turns out to be less impressive all over. The track reapeats as a remix [useless] version too.

'Main Kya Hoon' is a 'wide angle' track if we talk in terms of picturisation. A sound that I feel designed for endless journeys. Going through endless road, higher and higher. After all, its K.K. who takes us there. Up next are funky Guitar strings. The track Aahun Aahun is so interestingly composed. Everything is designed funky. A sure shot dance hit in DJ community. Jazzy B and Neeraj Shridhar rocks the floor. Also there is a remix of the track, but I would prefer the original.

Time for some relief. When we listen drum beats increasing slowly and croon of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, in same fashion as 'Teri Aur'. The Track 'Ajj Din Chadheya' is a beautifully written track by Irshad. And is mostly goes by vocal. And what more can we ask for if Rahat is singing it??

Concluding the album, a 'Shaadi' track. 'Thoda Thoda Pyar' is a typical Punjabi marriage song, with pretty good vocals of Sunidhi Chauhan with a touch of folk. A completely situational track, nothing much.

So surprised I am, that why Imtiaz Ali has come up with such an above average soundtrack? Looking back at his movies, I was hoping an extravagenza. But this is a big disappointment. Okay, given that movie doesn't belong to genre of Musical, its a fun on the go,kinda movie. But still..... Again I am surprised that Shaan, who is voice of Saif, is not used at all. And the album is so much Male dominated. I dont think there would be much more mushy mushy moments. Nahiin.....Jab we met ke baad We wanna see some more like that,,,,,,don't we?? May be its because the movie is co-produced by Saif. So he must have all the attention, isn't it? :P

Bachna Ae Haseeno Songs Download

Here come Yash Raj Films with their 3 heroine project. With Ranbir Kapoor’s previous being a big disaster, this time there is much more hope especially when the title has already proved lucky for Ranbir’s dad.

The music is by Vishal-Shekar and lyrics by Anvita Dutt Guptan.

The album opens with ‘Khuda Jaane’ sung by Shilpa Rao and KK. The track offers a perfect romantic and intensely passionate number with KK bringing in those lines ‘Khuda Jaane’ with complete conviction.

The track sees a ‘Revisited’ version with Abhijit Nalani. This is more of a lounge / club version which is most likely to be placed at a disc round the corner.

Sunidhi Chauhan brings in ‘Lucky Boy’ which acts as the search for a woman’s lucky soulmate. The beats are Punjabi and Raja Hassan of Sa Re Ga Fame adds his bit. The final output is not enticing enough and the track is much below average. Hard Kaur is also heard for a bit in the track. The saving grace may come from the pretty women visuals.

‘Ahista Ahista’ brings in Lucky Ali and Shreya Ghosal- two voices that are poles apart together. If you are looking for a serene number, you’ve got it totally wrong this time. Lucky Ali fuses his sonorous overtones to match with the melodious Shreya Ghosal to provide a racy smooth club number. The track calls for repeat value.

‘Jogi Mahi’ has a certain narration of a story. The track takes off with Shekar Rajvijiani and soon Sukhwinder Singh is drawn in. The typical Yash Chopra number which has all the necessary ‘desi ‘beats will surely call for some great visuals. Himani Kapoor the Himesh Reshammiya favourite too lends her bit. But somewhere the track falls short and remains just another mediocre number.

‘Small town girl’ comes in with immense resemblance to ‘Ticket to bollywood’ from ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’. The track sung by Shankar Mahadevan has the necessary elements of Punjab and speaks apparently of a sexy looking Bipasha. The visuals might prove good but this is just another mediocre number.

Now comes the most awaited track of the album-the title number. When one gets out redoing or recreating the magic created by the likes of RD Burman, Kishore Kumar and Majrooh Sultanpuri, there’s immense pressure. Vishal-Shekar excel with this one by giving Kishore Kumar’s son the honour of rendering. Sumit Kumar takes off well and Vishal Dadlani adds with the rap bit. This one’s been a rage for years and the new version will just revisit those RD Burman days.

‘Bachana Ae Haseeno’ ultimately doesn’t live up to all the hype and has freshness only in the form of ‘Khuda Jaane’ and ‘Ahista Ahista’. Vishal-Shekar are nowhere close to ‘Om Shanti Om’ and their other memorable albums.
